How do I get rid of my stage fright...? I always freeze up in front of anybody, and everybody! almost all of the time! I just want to be able to not forget what I'm supposed to say, and I practice all the time, it doesn't help enough!

Embrace being in front of everyone. See it as your chance to show off. Or pretend that you aren't. Limit your vision to the air in front of your audience, or the edge of the stage. It helps.

How many times have you performed in front of people? Even though most actors/speakers/performers never totally get rid of their stage fright (in fact, most of them say the wouldn't want to, because it gives them an edgy feeling that improves their performance), most people find that stage fright gradually lessens as they perform in front of people more. So just hang in there, and seize every opportunity to be in front of a group of people, even if you're scared. That's the only way it will really get better.

I LLLOVE the stage I grew up on it.Pretend you are in your room all alone practicing. or think I may be great and famous don't ruin this it's my chance. In the mall someone asked me if I wanted to be in a comercail. I was being shy so I came back later still shy. so I ruined that chance so just be yourself (fun self, not scared self). It may be easy for me to say though.

i was like you
then one night i was offered a chance
to sing in front of 900 people
for a cancer benifet
it was for a 5 year old girl
i will treasure that day forever
she melted my heart
and took away my fears of stage fright

Personally I ignore all of the people like they aren't even there and then when I feel comfortable enough to make eye contact I do. Just give it time. You'll find a way to cope.

Look above the audience and concentrate on your role. Acting is more than reading lines or looking pretty. Think about the character you rare playing and how to best display it's demeanor and ideas.

Never try to say anything from ur memory, just say before any body what is readily coming from ur mouth and be confident that what u say does not matter whether people say its right / wrong.
Just think what u say is the best u say.

Just do it. Get up there and do it.

It's amazing how nervousness can actually HELP your performance. It puts an extra edge on it and adds dimension that no one else is aware of but you.

The more you do it, the easier it becomes.
