ask not why they have started doing it.. ask why they didn't do it sooner! well i dont expect a guy to keep his eyebrows SHAPED... but if he has a unibrow or his eyebrow hairs are really growing in different directions... i'd like for him to keep his eyebrows groomed!... i guess some guys do it to maybe bring more attention to their eyes as well..?? idk. whatever the guy's reason is, idc because as long as his eyebrows look presentable... *gives thumbs up*! btw Jose G.. if "Greenday" rules, maybe you would have realized that it's Green Day. YO.

I've help guys use tweezers their on brows since the 80's. It's not as uncommon for men to do this. Otherwise, they walk around with a uni-brow, or the cyclopes look.
Einstein had eyebrows so long and thick. That's why they say this is a sign of intelligence.
PS: You Tweeze Eye Brows, and Pluck Chickens.

Well, not really. If they have a unibrow or eyebrows like Colin Farrell, then they're doing the right thing.... Guys have to be careful though, only a few plucks should do it. If I can tell that a guy plucks his eyebrows I will automatically think he's gay.

Wer living in a society now wer men are really begining to love themselves. The eyebrow trend could be accompanied with maybe a little tattoo on the mans calf .. or a session on the sun beds.. diamond earing.. its endless and horrible! When will they grow up! i'm a normal working class lad and proud of it - dont need to pluck my eyebrows or make my skin orange to look good.

There's nothing new about this...men plucked their eyebrows, wore wigs, powder and makeup way back in the 16th-17th centuries. They carried fans and wore perfume, too. They even wore patches ("beauty marks") and earrings. So they're just going back to an old, old fashion. In fact in Renaissance Italy they even plucked the hair on their foreheads back because a high forhead was considered a sign of intelligence.

I never saw another man pluck his own eyebrows
this doesn't sound very "Guy" like...
you sure this wasn't part of a drunken bet.
"Dude... I bet you cant pluck your eyebrows"!
we men will happily pluck any number of things and the grosser the better!
my guess is this eyebrow plucker is going to do something manly with the hair like have the worlds first eyebrow hair Hammock!

Because guys don't want unibrows either. They just want to enhance the shape of their brows. But if it's plucked too thin on a guy, it looks a little feminine. If it's kept natural and just a few hairs in between and underneath are plucked, it looks great.

If a guy has really bushy eyebrows or a unibrow, then it is definitely normal behavior for him to tweeze. I think this trend in eyebrow grooming is part of a much broader trend in "metrosexual" behavior, which is basically just heightened fashion consciousness, as fostered by such make-over shows as Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

There is a difference between plucking the strays and cleaning up the unibrow and looking gay. Some guys over do it and look like total metrosexuals. But they're the same guys who shave their body, too, so what the heck.

Normal????
If you have bushy eyebrows and you want to tidy them up (as most people in the West think that neat eyebrows are more attractive than unkempt) what difference does it make which gender you are. Have you been shot through a time corridor, this is Century 21 !

It depends on what culture they are from. If they are Americans, then it may not be normal behavior. But, if they are Japanese, then it is normal because I read somewhere that Japanese people pluck their eyebrows, whether the are men, or women.
