definitely. texas isnt a threat anymore since they lost Vince Young. the biggest threat this year is Michigan. they have mike hart, steve breaston, and leon hall (all excellent players) but we (Ohio State, since I live in Columbus Ohio), play them at home and Ohio State can shut down their running back (who is more of a threat than Chad Henne). Penn State isnt a threat either since they dont have Michael Robinson. Iowa hasnt ever been too much of a threat except for the fact that they still have Drew Tate but thats just about it. Even with 9 out of 11 of our defensive starters gone, we still have some good recruits and then players from last year are good too. Our offense will dominate with Troy Smith, Ted Ginn Jr., and Antonio Pittman. i think Ohio State will have their rankings like USC did this year (awesome offense, okay defense). the only difference will be that Ohio State will actually win the Championship game this year.

TROY SMITH WILL WIN THE HEISMAN!! AND OHIO STATE WILL GO UNDEFEATED AND WE WILL PLAY LSU IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AND BEAT THEM!!

do no longer pay attention to idiots like "quicker Scott"-what interior the hell has Oklahoma completed these days? OSU can and has shown decrease than Tressell that they could win a countrywide identify. OSU had an explosive offesne final year and a mushy protection. This protection this year is NASTY and stingy. while they gained the 2002 identify all I heard is how they somewhat beat Cincinatti and how Miami could kill OSU. returned, protection proved otherwise. LSU I are looking forward to will nonetheless be interior the thick of issues at years end. Ohio State can play with anybody. i think of the Buckeyes will run the time table and be interior the identify game. the consequence? Who knows? yet while Kentucky can beat LSU-so can Ohio State. quicker Scott, the place is Oklahoma ranked? Okie bastard. i exchange into interior the U.S. army with alot of those SEC followers-0.5 of them can't spell SEC. good ingredient they could prepare dinner or that they had don't have something to brag approximately.

I was born a Buckeye Fan, I was raised a Buckeye Fan, and I will die a Buckeye Fan. Having said that...no I don't think we will win it all this year.
We lost most of our starting offense to the NFL or graduation. There has also been a real breakdown in discipline at OSU in the last few years, which will affect moral and performance on any team. We will do well, we do after all have Tressell, but not all the marbles.

They will

Texas has a freshman at qb so they will just blitz the crap out of them

Iowa won't be able to stop our offense

Michigan will be thier hardest game but they will win in a close game
and end the season undefeated
again

They are definitely one of the teams that can win it all; the schedule has some tricky games; going down to Austin to play Texas won't be easy....even without Vince Young (playing games on the road in hostile environments are always tough...but this Buckeye team has the weapons to pull that victory off); and could be the key game for them to advance to the title game. They host Michigan this year, so that is in their favor. I think they really have a good shot of getting to Arizona for the title game.

No. they play away at Texas and Iowa, and home games vs. Penn State and Michigan, they might lose 1 or 2 games.
