If everyone told you that Dave (made up person) was a geek because he was short and wear the glasses, you may believe them.
I think if someone tells you that you are beautiful then you will believe it. I took a sociology class. Looking glass self by philosopher Charles H. Cooley. Cooley said if you walk in a room/party and every one looks at you their assumption/expression (verbal or non-verbal) will cause you to think about it. Then you will internally determine that it's true because everyone is thinking it. So, then you believe it and that how you start to see yourself.
Just like Uma Thurman. When she was a child, every one in her class thought she was ugly and tall. Now, the world thinks she is a sexy mama or goddess.
To me she is OK looking. That's my opinion. And plus, men are my cup of tea. LOL
I think I am pretty not beautiful. Beauty fades. People who love you think you are beautiful...Unless you are put on a throne in peoples mind. You get the picture.

It all depends on what you see in a person to make them beautiful, im sure there is someone out there who thinks you are beautiful...

i have bad features individually...but overall i look pleasant (sorta cute even)...my parents say thats coz im a nice n friendly person. im always a little sceptical abt that explanation, but i'll accept it until i come across another...
or do u mean..beautiful as in patient enough to answer other ppls' (strangers') questions??..then thats coz we r bored!!

I don't think I'm beautiful. I'd rather be a nice caring respectable person with a good sense of humor and personality.

I don't worry too much about what I look like. I mean, I make sure I look good as far as brushing my hair, etc. I'd rather be nice than drop dead georgous.
