Um... you can't. Sexual orientation is not something you can tell by looking at someone. Pleanty of stright men cry for whoever put that up. There is no way to tell, even if you ask them they could lie to you. Phycological tests can show if someone is prone to being gay, but you can't tell.

If you're gay, you might have this thing called a "gaydar." It's often very reliable.
If not, a lot of gay men lisp for some reason. They also have certain facial expressions.

A gay guy cares about how his hair looks and other things. Pay attention to his walk, his body language, and how he talks!

No way of really knowing for sure, because some might try to hide the fact they are from others, in fear of rejection if they knew the truth.

You can't. People are people. It's OK to ask, most people won't care. If they get offended when you ask, then the problem is with their insecurity not you.
