I took him to my family doctor thursday with a fever of course it was a ear infections, then thursday night (3:00am) he had a 104.6 fever and red dots on his hands and feet, he would not drink anything "sore throat" well they swaped his throat it was strep. Well the dots have turned to blister like pumps and they are on his hole body including his mouth, bottom and everywhere else any idea what it is? And should I take him on to childrens hospital? Please only serious answers , I am worried!

Gosh, it sounds like chicken pox. If you can't get him to the doctor's office NOW, take him to the ER. They can evaluate him and get him on the proper medication.

Hello! We've had strep more times than I can count. At times, I had 5 or 6 children down with it! But stay calm--let's figure this out... First, is your son on antibiotics for the strep? Has his fever come down? This is important, because a fever of 104 or over should be watched very closely, and your doctor should be aware. Strep usually doesn't cause a rash with blistery bumps. Strep rashes are usually hard red sand-paper feeling areas, most often over the tummy and chest. If that's the kind of rash he has, then the antibiotics should treat it, but again, you should make your doctor aware. (I realize this is Saturday...sorry! It's always on the weekends or holidays, isn't it??) Does your clinic have a hotline, or your insurance company, that you can call with symptoms? In Minnesota, we've got Minute Clinics in some of the grocery stores that have a nurse who can diagnose and treat simple diseases. But they won't look at someone under 18 months.
Are the bumps itchy? Has he had chicken pox or been vaccinated for it? What he has sounds more like chicken pox than anything else.
If he's uncomfortable but his fever isn't too high, try letting him play in a tepid bath with baking soda (not baking powder)--maybe a cup to a bath that's three inches deep. The soda helps relieve the itchiness. White vinegar can help, or witch hazel (but try just a little spot first to see if it stings). Lots of fluids-no caffeine- are a must!
Since he had the dots BEFORE the strep diagnosis, I'd guess it's NOT a reaction to the antibiotic.
Um, calamine lotion is very soothing, but I think it's a mess to work with. Benadryl will help with itchiness but can make him sleepy (sometimes that's nice, too!).

Definitely take him to a children's hospital. That fever is WAY too high - is it down yet? Go ASAP if the fever is still high - don't wait for any replies. Go to the nearest hospital.
If the fever is not so high or his temp is normal, call the hospital and get their advice. Let them know he has a rash. Call on the way to the admin so that they can send a doctor out for a primary analysis of the rash before going into the hospital. I am sure that you would rather go and get him looked over than sit at home and worry about his condition.

i would call a another doctor and ask him or just take him straight to the hospital
