I am a lawyer and my best legal advice would be to hire a lawyer to help you. Also, look in your community for anything labeled "dispute resolution" or something similar. Many charitable agencies will halp people out with things. It's worth a try. Or go to Small Claims Court in the City or Town where you live. Inexpensive, no lawyers - just make sure you have your ducks in a row.

Never take free advice, unless you know the person very well. How do you know who on here is a lawyer. They could be pretending to be a lawyer, or worse, be a crooked lawyer who just lost their license.

Try http://www.findlaw.com to find a lawyer. Many lawyers will give free advice on what to do.
