If aliens in another galaxy or dimension are observing us, i.e. movies & tv shows,what would be their favorite

Scientists and astronomers have said over the years that aliens (or beings if it sounds better to you) are monitoring us and even visiting us via UFOs. Could it be they show up at times when certain tv shows (series) are on or at the time a new movie comes out dealing with space, science fiction,etc. to see how we handle beings like them? What shows/movies do you think they would like? If they see shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, would the real aliens think humans have that kind of power to destroy them, is that why they don't land and say "Hello!" ?

aliens don't need to waste gas to travel to earth and visit us.they already have invisible satellites in outerspace to monitor us.they're currently watching us from their tv sets as if our lives are a daily soap opera show that they're addicted to watching.they don't land because they're unsure of how humans will react.what if we shoot missiles at them and think they're a hostile threat when they really aren't and just wanted to say "Hello"? they don't want to put their alien friends in danger.

i don't think they'll watch sci-fi tv show or movies that are kind of boring.i think they'll watch cartoons like family guy because roger,this alien character is in it.
