talk behind their backs about how you weren't talking behind their backs.
that'll throw them off.

shake them off. if they're willing to believe stupid rumors about their own friends, they arent very good friends to begin with.

Write a letter, sign it and send it to each of them. You could also find someone who is neutral who can "mediate" between you and the other parties. Choose someone who is mature and intelligent, someone you trust.

It is entirely possible that you are in an opportunity to get better friends, some people who are much more intelligent, discerning, and have better character. Try to analyse the situation and see where you might have acted in any way to give people the impression that you talked about them. Have you ever gossiped? Do you ever talk about anyone behind their back for no good reason? Look and see how you can show the world that you are an improved person, and your reputation will speak for itself. And while you're doing this, don't dwell on what's already happened. You can't change the past.

Are you sure you didn;t say anything? If you did, you need to apologize, and then stop gossiping. If you really didn't, approach them (or one at a time) and tell them that you really don't remember saying anything negative about them, and ask if they can tell you what exactly you've said that's upset them so much. If they still won't talk to you about it, then maybe they're not worth this trouble. I remember being younger, and friends do this to each other because they are immature, and not real friends anyway. If you're young, chances of them being your friend in the future (highschool, University, or afterwards) is very slim anyway. People move on, they realize who their real friends are, and they find new ones that don't do things like this to a friend. Seriously, if they were real true good friends, they would be trying to talk to you about this anyway, not ignoring you. Good luck!

Oh gee...I get this alllll the time, I would feel depressed about it and crap, but I would make it seem to them that I don't give a shyt, because friends who don't believe you are really not your friends....Just tell them

"I don't have time talking bad about you, if I did, what kind of friend do you take me for? if I talk bad about you behind your back, wouldn't I ignore you so it could seem as if I hate you...but I don't, so why would you think I talk about you, is there a reason? I would admit it if I did, but I'm not admitting it because I didn't say shyt about you!"

Basicly come out and say, I didnt talk about you behind your back. They either believe it or not. Bout all you can do from there. If they don;t believe you and dont want to be your friend...They arent friends you want anyway. Go find better people who wont treat you like this. Good Luck!

Example:
Marie,Suzanne, and Julie are your friends who think that you're talking about them....Go to Marie and say: Marie,i see that Julie has changed these days, she doesn't talk to me like before, what's wrong with her?....then Marie should tell you about the problem....if she didn't say anything, so that's it,and you don't have to worry about them....if they are not brave enough to talk to you in your face,so that's thier problem of listening to roumers !
