I know where the box is but I don't know which fuse is which.

On the panel there should a diagram that shows exactly where each fuse is located. In most cars it is listed as an accessory fuse. If you really want help, you can take it to Auto Zone and they can check to see which fuses are out or show you where it's at. It that fails take it to your dealership.

I'll give you a hint: The fuse is the one that when removed doesn't have a solid wire visible in the plastic. There should be a piece of element that goes from one spade to the other. the burnt one is the culprit. Most of the time the fuse is in with other accessories. so if the cig lighter isn't working only it may be a disconnect on the back of the lighter itself. There aren't that many fuses so it should be easy to locate.

if you have your owners manual there is an illustration that tells you what all the fuse are. just look up fuses in the index. ( the very back) hope this helps you its probably a yellow 20 amp or a green 25 amp. make sure there is not any thing metal in the socket before replacing it like a dime or a penny i have seen money welded in there because people use the ashtray for a change holder then the change falls down in there.

look at the underside of the door thing to the inside fuse box..it has a diagram of whats what.

if your dome light dont work its probably the fuse but it is the acy fuse in the fuse box should be a 20amp (yellow) fuse
