The key is the "left hand turn" statement: if it only does it then!

There is probably a suspension part, brake line bracket, shock mount, or something like that hitting when you hit a bump on a left turn. Cut the wheels hard left and look underneath for something close enough to make contact. Look for a "wear spot" where something has been hitting.

If it helps, I have a "noise library" on my website. You can listen to .wav files of various noises I've recorded of car sounds. It's at http://econofix.com/noiselib.html

This sounds like the CV joint or actually a little play in the front end. I would not pass GO nor deal with it. This is what Warranty is for. But do make sure you can re create the noise so that when the Dealer says UH we didn't find Nuttin' you say Get in the car we're goin for a ride. Then YOU recreate it and tell them to fix it. They will have a lot more respect for you the next time. My '05 Grand Prix GT had a noise in the right rear. They change tires and it was still there so they replaced the right rear hub after finding the bad bearing. Bit I had to take the Manager for a ride...It's your car go get it fixed....Don't listen to the whiny butts who say you have a lemon....You have a good vehicle it just has one bad part on it....The doesn't mean they are all bad parts....Enjoy your car.

sounds like a trip to the dealership is in your future.

I would take it in and have them look at it, since it is under warranty, if they find nothing, demand a mechanic ride with you so that you can identify the noise for them.

Thats the sound of poor craftmanship.

Sorry to say it, but that car is going to be a nightmare for you.

I think the problem is that it is a GM vehicle.
