All you need is the router. You don't need a hub. The router can serve as a hub too.

if you're going wireless you only need a router like an apple airport. hook the router to your modem and you should be good to go. you would need a hub/switch if you wanted to hook up any peripherals like printer or scanner that you want to be shared over the network.

No, most home wireless routers these days have a built-in 4-port switch. That would be all you'd need for what you want to do.
