That was so long ago that I barely remember the title "House of Wax" 1953. They were hot novalties in the 50's. We got to wear the little cardboard glasses. Actually the movie was a thriller. A guy had a house of wax and the way he made his wax people was by coating people with a spray coat of hot wax. They did not survive, but they made great natural looking manakins.

Also during this epic was "It Came from Outer Space" another great 3d flick. Also 1953.

Perhaps the most successful film of that error in 3D was "Kiss Me Kate" which I did not see. It was released in late 1953 in a few theators and was so popular that it underwent wider release.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Yes, it is a stupid movie. Playing in the midnight theater where everyone is wasted. Not too much fun!
