For all the animals that went into outer space, why is it that the BIRD was the only animal that died?

Maybe it has something to do with shock, as birds out of their natural confines suffer more than other species.

Maybe it is not used to zero gravity. Or, it was in a state of shock. I am just guessing.

they cant fly correctly. imagine trying to fly. and you just keep going. you gonan hit everything. prolly brain damage.
