The war might backfire. If we anger the islamofacists they may begin to ram planes into our buildings, pledge the destruction of Isreal, attack our ships target American citizens.

foreign interventionism is what has backfired, and this has been our bipartisan policy for decades. it has gotten us where we are today. it spawned 9/11.
there is a difference between neutrality and "isolationism"
