hi, i recommand you to use firefox.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
firefox can edit which site/popup to block and unblock.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

spybot is good. i have that for spyware and adaware for adware. theyre both free and they keep my computer clean. try those 2

Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com to scan your machine. Then go to http://www.windowsdefender.com and donwload the beta of Windows Defender install that and scan your PC.
