The dealership said that there is nothing wrong with the air bag and they have had it shut off 5 times already. Does anyone have any ideas why the light could be coming on? Should I take it to a mechanic of my choosing or trust the dealership? They told me to bring it back on tuesday and they'll have Auto Tech turn the light off again. Any ideas? Any GM mechanics that have knowledge about digital dashboards in newer vehicles?

If it is the driver's air bag, you could have a bad module, which is normally lccated on the floor under the center console of the truck, if it has been hit before and had a used module installed this is likely the culprit. You can try to run a Carfax report, but they are not all that accurate, but you can find out if it has had insurance paid collision repair done. If that is not the problem, take it to a different dealer, explain to them the problem and the fact that where you have been taking it has done you no good, and see if they can find a different answer for you.

No, examine engine lighting fixtures in many cases come on because of a sensor going out, in many cases area of the emissions equipment. Take it to autozone and that they'll examine it for loose, and inform you why the examine engine mild is on, and that they'd turn it off in case you elect. in step with probability your drain plug isn't comfortable and that's leaking by using that, or you ought to have a gasket seal leaking, which wont be lots to interchange. And a dealership would cost alot greater to interchange it than doing it your self, yet once you're no longer confortable doing that, then only carry it to a typical motor vehicle keep, and that they are going to do it for alot greater much low cost than a dealership.

It could be the timer spring that is in the steering column going bad. Some Dodges are notorious for this, and had recalls on them. May want to investigate further for your vehicle. Good luck.

Sounds like the car was wrecked before, and the dealership is lying to you.
