You sound like a middle infielder prbaly 2nd base. Practice taking ground balls and making accurate throws. Also work on your hitting by using batting cages. Timing is the key to good hittng. Your coaches should be able to help you a lot.

First answer a few questions for yourself. What kind of arm do I have? What type of foot work do I have? And do you have good hand-eye coordination? What type of speed do I have? If you have good speed & arm any of the corner outfield positons should be good. If you have good footwork and a arm any of the corner positons would work. If you are really above average in all i would sugggest SS.

Batting, try using the tee to get comfortable with a hitting stroke. That should help.

You don't' sound like you've played much. The only way to answer your own questions is to start playing. Learn the game first and practise as much as you can. It's the only way to get good.

5'11, 170 that would be good in the outfield... just stick at it and go in and practice in the cage as much as you can!

I think the out field is the best place for someone who isn't all that tall but anywhere is fine as long as you are good at it.

Second base or shortstop, depends on your arm strength. Keep your eyes on the ball.
