A long time ago I saw a comedy movie on TV (actors were British) about this rich guy and his nephew? who were going around out of boredom spending their money for kicks. One example was they bought expensive art just to cut out the nose and throw the rest away in the horror of the museum owner... I remember it being hilarious at the time and would love to find it and watch it again. I don't think it was Monty Python but I don't know

It is, without a doubt, The Magic Christian.

It sounds like Monty Python because John Cleese and Graham Chapman contributed to the screenplay.

Try bbc.com, they may have a search engine for that, or imdb.com may be able to help you find a search for it.
Sorry I can't be of more help than that.
