Implantation bleeding is lighter than menstrual bleeding, and consists of pink or brown colored blood. Implantation bleeding occurs when the trophoblast, or tissue that surrounds the egg, attaches to the endometrium and slowly eats its way into the lining. As it does so, it eats through the mother's blood vessels, forming blood lakes within itself. When these blood lakes form near the surface of the trophoblast, they often cause implantation bleeding.

Remember, the difference between period and implantation bleeding is the amount; implantation bleeding is considerably lighter than menstrual bleeding. Menses and implantation bleeding should be different enough so that you can tell.

Here is the answer hold on this may take a bit doing a little research:

Implantation bleeding can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6-12 days past ovulation. It is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood.Only 1in3 women experience implantation bleeding.

Make an apointment at Planned Parent Hood or another free clinic.

it is light ( usually looks like the start of your period) it happens when the egg fuses with the sperm and forms the zygote( ball of cells that becomes your baby) implants itself in your uterus. the length of time you bleed for usually differs for every woman mine only lasted about an hour but if you want to be sure just take a test
