wondering whom the author is? proud to be an american,but (because i am one i can ask this question) why did they not show us this perception of the founding of america

ummm, i guess you are talking about the book "bury my heart at wounded knee". yes i've read it, the name of the author is dee brown.

i am not an american, but as a human being, i feel ashamed for what the white people did to the native americans.

hi. u answered my question about c.columbus. my mom has read this book. she reads a lot of native american histories and biographies. she has told me some of the terrible things the indians suffered and i will never forget those things. however, i have not read the book and have too soft of a heart to bear it. but thanks for answering my question.
