I both love and hate Scottish football. I'm Scottish, so was brought up on it and could never leave it, it's given me some fantastic highs and lows, but yes it does bore the **** out off me sometimes. I think it's the complete lack of ability by some players, they think trapping a ball is letting it bounce 10 yards away off your foot. Also some of the tactics are designed to stop playing rather promote it. Also the financial aspects don't help, but yes you do have a point, about other leagues, the SerieA for all it's money, skill etc can be dull as ****, I'd rather watch paint dry than that pish.

Scottish football does not have the money, and therefore the players, to compete with England in the quality of its football. On the other hand the best football technically is far from always the most interesting to watch.

There was nothing boring about Gretna's success last season.

I wish Dundee would do better though!

That's not fair. As I mentioned in a question earlier today, I'm scottish, but supported England and bought the tops and the flags during the world cup. You're out of order.

well if you certainly say so, better home grown talent in the SPL than in the EPL as you see.

How are you supposed to get better young English players to develop when you have teams like Chelsea who buy international players at ridiculous prices? I count like 3 englishmen in their squad (Cole,Terry,Lampard) and they just let wee Shaun Wright-Phillips' talent rot on the bench, real good.

No offence but Rangers seem to think buying out of Scotland is success and we'll witness that this season to see if they can even do anything.

'mon the hoops!

I do find it predictable, i.e. Rangers or Celtic winning the league every year.

I'd like Dundee United to win it for a change, but I don't think that's about to happen.

I think the best we can hope for is Hearts to change the monotony.

When England missed their final penalty, Scotland erupted.
Top that.
