I think there is something else going on here. I don't know what Israel is up to and I can't figure it out. Maybe there is a schism in the power groups of the world, that Bush and other country's governing politicians are part of.

War is dangerous. Israel DID, however, send fliers down to Lebanon, advising them that the war was going to start and for civilians to get out. If they stayed, they did so knowingly and assuming the risk. No other country has made such warnings before war. Lebanon started this war, by trespassing into Israel, kidnapping soldiers (who they still have not returned) and launching bombs into Israel. Israel simply responded. Hey, if you come into my yard, steal my child and damage my home, I'd go after you, too.

Why doesn't the death of innocent Israelis matter to you? Hezbollah attacks Israel from Lebanon. Why is it Israel's responsibility when they respond to attacks that are made from amongst civilians? How does Bush have to justify it? He is not engaging in war with Hezbollah, Israel is. Israel can justify it because they have been attacked and are responding.
