Couldn't`t really call it a game today. It was really just about giving the lads a work out. It was also a chance for benitez to see what the young scouse lads have got. Its great to see young lads working their way up through the academy. It gives all new hope to the young lads still kicking a football round their back garden to see that it doesn`t matter if you Italian, French or Spanish, as long as you give it all you've got and you can play great football you have just as much a chance of making it in the big time as anyone else. Well done Rafa, we have faith, we believe.

Unfortunately I cant watch Liverpool games or any EPL games for that matter because I live in US, and it doesnt show here.

Usuall pre season friendly stuff really, all about fitness, Riena playing in midfield excepted. Nevermind Houghton bieng boring he's in the same bracket as Lawrenson now for me, absolutely slaughtered a 17 year old kid (Hobbs)... in a friendly.

thought bellamy and fowler linked up well.
hyppia and paletta looked good togehter.
anderson will be good to come off the bench in some games.
pennant looked lively as well when he came on at half time.
Good run out but hard to judge until the "big boys" come back!!

Ya watched it on eurosport. Reina coming on in midfield and nearly scoring was brilliant. Come on the pool
