I won a car driven by my chauffeur.I want to know whether in the backseat i should sit diagonally opposite to him or at tandem to him?

Right back seat. You exit to the sidewalk, not the street. And you allow the chauffer to stand on the non-traffic side as he opens the door.

Sitting looking forward from the back seat. That way if he makes a wrong turn, you can slap him on the side of the head. If you sit sideways you run the risk of hurting your wrist when you slap him. Trust me, I know about this.

I guess it depends if you want to talk to him or not. Is there a divider between you two? If so, maybe you should sit near the phone [or whatever the communication device between you is].

left passenger side. so when he gets out he can easily open the door for you. also depends on what side of the street he lets you off at.
