I have always liked older music even though I was just a kid in the seventies I listened to The Who, Kiss and many others. Of course in 86 I was 13, so I like some eighties stuff like Tears for Fears and The Police even though they put there first two albums out in the late seventies.

I wasnt all that old in the 80's, im a 60's person myself, but i must admit, i used to like listening to music with my daughter. She had one song though that she played over and over again, and i grew to hate it. It was "Respect" by Erasure. Others, i still like to listen to today. Go West, Rick Astley, Tears For Fears, Wet Wet Wet, and Wham.

Yesssss!
In particular, the early and mid-80's, about the time MTV got started (and I'm sure you remember when the M in MTV stood for Music and not Mediocre).

Yes.
I even spent the 80's working in a record store.
I still have my original MTV solid blue T-shirt that is autographed by Iron Maiden (in 1983).
