What do you do on long car journeys?
A friends going with me and it's 3 hours
We are not the drivers and my mum wont let me have a stero on were 12 yrs old.

if u hav a laptop u could watch movies on it u could also listen 2 music like on a ipod or something or read a book or just sleep or just talk 3 hours sounds long but actully when u get in the ca the three hours passes quickly

Well if u r interested u can take a story book and reading it while times passes or u can take a video camera or u can play some small games in the car etc there are a lot of things to be done...or even hear an Mp-3 or a walkman...

Drive.
Bring an iPod....magazines....talk! Talk about relationships and your dislikes and likes, try to get closer. Count cars of certain colors, and license plates. Since you said mum you probably live in the UK where the license plates aren't that much different but its worth a shot I guess?

i unno i play games with cars like naming things or also you can stick your toung out at ppl in driving and see how long it takes them to notice you lol oh and by the way im seventeen and i still do this lol im sure you'll have fun road trips are fun i love riding in cars for long periods of time...bring sumthin with you maybe a cd player or some books im sure youre friend will be enought entertainment

hmm... u could bring a good book along with u to read... if tt doesn't give u a headache during the journey.... or some simple games... to play with ur friend perhaps...

We've just bought a portable dvd-player, my husband made a stall for it, we bring colouring books, small toys, portable games, something to drink and eat, plastic cups(!) and our positive attitudes. And stop every 2 ours (cca.)

play games based on things out the window? Make friendship braids, sleep, take handcream and get your hands really well moisturized? Read if it doesnt make you feel ill.

Read, but some get carsick that way. Otherwise, I play uno with my son.
