(g◦(f◦h))(3) (h◦(g◦f))(2)

plug in functions:
(2x-1◦(4x◦x²+1))(3) (x²+1◦(2x-1◦4x))(2)

simplify:
1:(6x-3 ◦ (12x ◦ 3x²+3)) (2x²+2◦(4x-2◦8x)

2:((72x²-36x)(18x^3+18x -9x²-9))((8x^3-4x²+8x-4)(16x^3+16x))

3:and so forth....

(4x)² + 1 = 16x² + 1 [ which you could also write as (4x - 1)(4x+1)
16(2x-1)² - 1 = 16(4x² - 2x + 1) - 1 = 64x² - 36x - 16
(64x² - 36x - 16) x 3 = 192x² - 108x - 48
4(2x-1) = 8x-4
8(x² + 1) 8x² + 8
(8x² + 8) x 2 = 16x² + 16

(192x² - 108x - 48) ( 16x² + 16) < -- do that!

I got exactly what "rfamilymember" got: 24x^2+21 and 128x^2 - 32x + 4. The work from the other answerers doesn't make sense.

gof=2(4x)-1=8x-1 ho(gof)=(8x-1)^2+1=64x^2-16x+2 and
[ho(gof)(2)]=128x^2-32x+4
