I tried using waxing strips on my legs for the first time 2 weeks ago, and now the hairs are growing back.
They started out looking like little dark dots under the skin, and now they are short hairs, but they haven't come up properly and its sore. How can I stop this?

They sound like ingrown hairs, you should exfoliate before waxing and after waxing (but not for 24hr after) and that should help the ingrown hairs :-)

not too sure about your problem but i had my armpits done 2 years ago at a salon and it hurt so bad and when the hair grew back it was so painful, it still hurts to this day when i shave and it grows back.
my theory is stick to shaving

Shave. Or get your legs waxed professionally. And exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.
