I just saw it with 2 10yr olds and a 6 year old. The younger one found it boring at first but liked it okay as it rolled along to the end, and the 2 10yr olds liked it pretty well throughout. This 40yr old thought it was weaker in plot and dialog spunk than other Disney/Pixar recent films...not that sparklingly good theme/wit/drama found in say ToyStory or Monsters Inc or Nemo...but the animation was gorgeous. It was enjoyable enough, aspects of it were memorable, and it was fine G-rated fare, unusual as that is these days! There wasn't all that much dramatic tension really... Maybe some of that is the inherent difficulty of relating to a world of mildly anthropomorphic vehicles! Easier by far to get empathy-producing expressions on animate things, but the car-world the animators create is both amusing and impressively fleshed...err...sheetmetaled...out!
I would have given it a B-/C+ until I thought a little more about its themes and how they were conveyed...now I rate it a B. It's probably the best thing out there this summer to take under-12yrolds too, surely, and it's sweet in its way.

I've seen it, and I do like it. Pixar's animation hasn't gone far from their usual. The story has a nice moral that's good for the younger veiwers, all in all, it's a real good movie to watch with the little ones. There isn't much drama that would make this such a great movies for teens, though.

I watched Cars and it was pretty good, what do you expect from pixar. Spectacular animation. Good dialogue. A+

yeah, i saw it and i'm 15, so i thought it was kinda boring. if you're around my age, i wouldn't watch it. but i had a 12/14-ish friend sitting next to me who was singing, laughing, and having fun with it!!!

it was ok, not that good for pixar. the hillbilly truck did it for me.
