I just wrote a question about fleas, spiders, etc. I put a nightlight in a wall outlet, and put a container of water with a couple drops of dish wash detergent in it. At night, it is the only light and the bugs all go right to it. They jump to the light, but they fall in the water and drown. It has worked for years for me. Of course I had to put it in a question form, previously, but it is one of the best discoveries I have ever come across!! I really hate to see people spraying poison and breathing it and walking in it. This would save all of that.

Spider poison? Take a mound of sugar and put some borax in it. When the spider/bugs go for the sugar theyll be covered in acidic borax and literally burn up. Well they won't ignite but the pain will be unbearable and your insect/arachnid problem will be solved. No guarantee though.
Dont eat it afterwards and wash your hands.

You don't say what kind. If brown recluses, can put down sticky pads, since they run around and hunt. They tend to not be affected by dried out bug spray residues. I have them in my house and in Spring and Fall, I set out those raid cans (not foggers) that look like a Sterno can. You open it, set it on a dish, add water and clear out for several hours - air out before reoccupying. Gives off a dry smoke that gets into little nooks and crannies and doesn't leave that sticky residue that foggers do.

If jumping spiders, leave 'em alone. They're harmless and will hunt down insects in your house. In fact, they're really cool critters.

Sugar for spiders?? Come on!

there is a spray called spider b-gone (or similar) can sometimes be found at harriet carter.com or walter drake.com. Sherwin williams has bug-juice that can be added to paint to kill anything walking on it. I think its only OK to use outdoors tho

hope it helps!

I once sprayed OFF (a bug spray) on them and they retreated. It killed most of them.

A vacuum cleaner is also a very good solution.

Kill them when you see them perhaps...other than that they are pretty crafty and stay hidden for most of the time.
