Yes they are. The Hezbollah are being helped by Iran and Syria to attack Israel. Israel has been patient so far. The Hezbollah are terrorists who are cowards and hide among women and children. They have no guts to fight Israel out in the open. I am not sure why the whole world that keeps saying "We are against terrorism and we want to eliminate terrorism" is against Israel. Israel has a right to exist and a right to defend its territory.

It's just like a bloody playground!

'Oh, but Hezbollah started it!'

How can anyone honestly think that anything makes the bombing of thousands of innocent men, women and children could ever be justified. Yes, what Hezbollah is doing is wrong. Yes, they have the right to defend themselves, but this goes far beyond mere defence, and is illegal under international law.

Didn't your mother ever tell you, two wrongs don't make a right.

Defence would mean only attacking the terrorists, bombing entire settlements because there is a possibility a few terrorists might be hiding somewhere in there is both ridiculous and horrific.

No, Israel's reponse is disproportionate to the situation and it's the innocent people of Lebanon who are suffering the most not Hezbullah.

Israel's conduct has been atrocious - need I remind you of the repeated firing on the UN team?

I used to have sympathy for Israel, now I have none. The world should take action, and would have done before now were this any other country than Israel.

Absolutely. The Palestinians, with their many branches of terrorist organizations, have repeatedly stated that their goal is the destruction of Israel. Most people have not taken time to study the historical background.

are they justified in attacking hezbollah. yes of course. are they justified in killing the hundreds of innocent lebanese. absolutely not. i know there is such thing as casualities of war, but this is getting absurd. they need to be more careful of where they are aiming those damn rockets! i mean they blew up a U.N outpost and killed U.N. observers for heavens sakes—they pissed of Kofi Annan! and Kofi Annan never gets pissed off lol
