We all know he is an idiot as a politician and helping out GOP but for those who have known him practice in Vermont, been his patients of fellow doctors...was he a good doctor or he joined politics because he sucked as a doctor?

If you were sick he just screamed at you. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. But at least you left and made room for the next patient.

I think it's because he went to Med school, like Bill Frist. Although unlike Bill Frist, he did not misdiagnose Terri Schiavo after seeing a few seconds of a videotope. By the way, his state found a way to balance their budget, increase business, lower unemployment, enact environmental policies and provide healthcare to all residents.

His patients were sorry to see him leave his practice, but his wife is still practicing and sees many of his patients.
