In the Bible, what does it say about loving others?

I don't need a bible to tell me how to be a good person. I am more kind, generous, tolerant, understanding, compassionate and MORAL than most of the Christians I have met, and I'm an agnostic.

Don't let a book written by 7th century misogynists tell you how to live your life.

Think for yourself.

It says: Love others as much as you love yourself.
And of course there is also: Do to others what you would want them to do to you, in other words treat other people the same way you want to be treated.
It's very hard to do, but it is very good advice.
And yes, this belongs in a different section.

This would be better argued in another forum, other than Home>Computers & Internet>Internet

Why don't you simply love others? Why do you need anyone's advice on how to do it?
