me and my girl have been together for 5 years and 5 months. have a job, will catch up on bills by next month and shes attending school over the internet. We both want one. Any suggestions?

are you married? I think that a child will have a more stable life if the parents have a committed relationship. Even if you have "been together" for 5 years - a marriage is a different relationship, and a different level of commitment.

My husband and I were "together" for several years before we got married. It is much harder to walk away from one another when you are married. It isn't just taking your stuff and moving, but you have to go through legal proceedings.

SO...it is your choice, just be stable parents for the child, so few people think it through all the way and the child suffers.
