It wants Dvd 9 and I can only find dvd5 how can I split it up?

Specifically... go to www.doom9.net. It is the definitive web site for authoring DVD's. Download two programs:
DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.
DVD Decrypter will rip your movie and remove the copy protection.
If the movie is longer than 2 hours in length, use DVD Shrink to shrink the movie so that it will fit on a single layer DVD.
This doesn't always work. If the movie is just a bit longer than 2 hours it will always work, but if the movie is much longer than 2 hours, it sometimes doesn't work. Give it a try!!!
I use Ulead movie factory to burn my copies!!

You will need to install a dvd writing software. You can find free softwares from different websites. But the best software for dvd writing is NERO :)
