Word is not free... and people aren't going to help you steal it.
OpenOffice is just like Microsoft Office and includes Writer which is just like Word. And OpenOffice IS free. You can download it from www.openoffice.org.

No, but you can get Openoffice which has (among other things) a MS Word compatible desktop publishing/word processing program called "writer", which you may have trouble telling from the MS tool -- except that the annoying dancing paper clip is nowhere to be seen (what a relief!)
Find it at www.openoffice.org

If what you need is editing a Word document, try http://www.thinkfree.com/ , it's a full MS Office compatible office suit, that works online as a Java applet -you can download it and use it anywhere from any platform, etc. T'is cool.

There may be a bootleg site for it but most people will have it on a startup disc. I suggest you ask around your friends to borrow a startup disc.

not for free but a trial
unless you download p2p like limewire and get it for free thru there but u take a risk of virus/trojans...so only download zip files then virus scan them before you open them :)
