Yes, if the creator creates something higher then them selves!
For example, if someone were to create a government, and creates laws for that government, and is subject to those laws like every one else. Their creation has become higher then themselves.

That's a very good question. To me, a Creation can never be higher than the Creator, because the Creator created the Creation, not the other way around. Nothing is more powerful than God, and if you ever think something is and forget the only source for your being, success, happiness, well being which is God and become big headed like you know all the answers to everything, than only bad karma will come your way. And as a caring person, I don't want anything bad to happen to you. So always remember that God is the Supreme Being and is the only source of great things in your's and everyone else's lives and never take him for granted. Take care and may only good things and success come into your, your friends', and your family's lives.

I don't believe so. As we awaken to our inner Self and clean off the dust of beliefs and ideals that have been passed down from generations to us away, Creation starts to unfold itself through us, for Spirit/creation uninhibited is an expression of the Creator.
Certain artists talk about not even remembering painting certain divine masterworks. They say something just flowed through them and they were just an instrument for creative expression.
I think creation can be a divine inspiration for people and it can point to Beauty and to THAT which is the something more that we all long for, but certain creations(whether it's via a movie or book or sculpture, etc.) are just signposts along the way.
We are the creator and when ego steps aside n realizes it's place, existence/creation flows through us and with every word we say and every action we take we create peace n beauty n love. I think we're here to realize this.

I'm assuming that the Creator is God.
Of course no, because the creation was nothing at some point in time in the past before it was created, while its Creator was there all the time.

A True Creator makes something out of nothing. A maker makes things of stuff that is already there. Sometimes from an idea inspired by a Creator. So my answer would be no.

Yes, if the creator has made it in such a way that his creation has a capability to be higher than him. If you are talking about God, then the answer is no, because God is the sum total of everything, tangible and intangible. Everything is a part of God from atoms to the cosmos.

No! The Creator (God) and his Creation (the forces of nature that have crafted the universe and evolve all life thereon) are inseparable.
If you remember back to classes in physics, you may recall some of the various laws of physics such as those involving gravity, motion, reaction, leverage, electricity, conduction, convection, radiation, fission, fusion, and so on. Or back to classes in chemistry, which may have involved neutrons, protons, orbital electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and the various elements, combinations of elements, compounds, and such. Or back to classes in biology, which may have involved genes, chromosomes, DNA, varieties of living things, reproduction, mutations, and more.
All these subjects pertain to what can be labeled the “forces of nature”.
What is so amazing is that these forces of nature were inherent in the matter in the colossal big bang which began the universe.
What is so miraculous and incredible is that when planet earth was a cooling molten mass, these forces of nature were present and the potential was there for all that is now a part of life on planet earth, the atmosphere, the weather, the air, the water, all living things that have evolved, and all the materials and sources of sustenance, shelter, and transportation. It should be noted that planet earth is still a molten mass underneath an earthen skin, proportionately as thin as the skin of an apple.
Planet earth is fortuitous terrestrial anomaly. Astronomers speculate that statistically there must be others but so far none have found another planet in the universe capable of sustaining life as it is on planet earth. Planet earth is the right size and just the right distance from just the right sized sun. Planet earth rotates around the sun at just the right rate of speed in just the right kind of orbit. Planet earth rotates on its axis at just the right rate of speed. Normally a planet rotates on an axis which is perpendicular to its line to its sun. However it happened, the axis of planet earth got tilted (see a mounted globe) thus providing for seasons on planet earth. Moreover planet earth is circumnavigated by a moon which provides for the beneficial tides.
Given these ideal conditions, the inherent forces of nature took what was originally a moss of molten lava, and evolved it into this marvelously beautiful and bountiful planet earth.
And if these conditions are replicated anywhere else in the universe, the result will be the same as these same forces of nature permeate the universe.
Scientists continue to study these incredible forces of nature that have spawned the universe and evolved life on planet earth and continue to be amazed with each new bit of insight and each new discovery. Understanding and using their knowledge of the forces of nature is the realm of the scientist.
Saying that there is a mighty, powerful God who crafted these forces of nature, or saying based on the beauty and bountifulness of planet earth, that there is a mighty, powerful God of infinite and unconditional love, who crafted these forces of nature, is the realm of the philosopher or the theologian.

Depends on what you mean by higher ... for example, men can create machines that exceed their own abilities in various ways - a bulldozer, or a computer, far outperform human abilities. But whether that makes them "higher" is a matter of opinion.

At least Jesus Christ hinted at that (and quite enthusiastically!) when he reassured his followers saying the they will attempt greater things that Jesus himself ever did. I don't know about other religius writings, but the Bible acknowldges something that is foundational to computer science: the repetition of events generates a knowledge that can be stored, processed and transferred, thus leading to increased knowledge.
