I already have five children. I was VERY fertile. I got my tubes tied 3 years ago and all has been fine. Normal periods that I could count on down to the exact day. Well, no period this month at all. My stomach aches as if it will happen then nothing. Should I be worried? Should I take a test?

Thanks for all the replies!! I will go buy a test today. I am worried because I should have started near the tenth of the month. I went through the stage wear my face likes to break out then no period. The cramps have came and gone and still no period. Besides feeling a little moisture (that sound weird sorry LOL) nothing is different. I think I am freaking myself out over all of this. I will let you know the results of the PT. Again thanks for all the help!

Well good question get this though I also very fertile have 4 lovely little monsters and got my tubes tied after my last child only 5 MONTHS ago and guess what I am pregnant there is such thing as the tubiligation not keeping which is what happened to me but on the other hand you could have a tubal pregnancy which is a serious matter also!!! My suggestions take a test and regardless of the results make an appointment to see the doctor to make sure because if it is a tubal pregnany you could be in trouble!!
Good Luck and may i say CONGRATS in advance.

If the tubes are just tied and not burned , then there is a chance that you can get pregnant. If you've had normal periods and then all the sudden you don't have one. Well, the month is not finished yet, Go ahead and get a test just wait until the actual end of the month. Periods can change cycles.

Having your tubes tied is merely ninety 9% precise. i comprehend this as I have been given pregnant 3 years after having my tubes accomplished. So get to the scientific medical doctors honey. i do no longer envy you in this place. as having the alternative to have your tubes tied became painful adequate. solid success my ideas with you

If it feels like you might start but you don't it's very likely you might be pregnant. I would definitely take a test just to know!! I had mine tied after my twins' birth but the possibility still freaks me out!! Make sure you let us know the outcome!! Good luck!

well, if your a VERY fertile person, then yes take a home pg test, but unlike myself, I'm not that fertile, and they don't work with me. But sure weirder things have happened, especially if you had sex around the time you may have been ovulating.

Yes. Eggs can still attach to to the tube wall. It's happened to me (not ME, but her).
Also I heard tubes can UNtie, but I heard that a long time ago.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't spend a little on a pregnancy test for peace of mind. I would rather know than drive myself crazy wondering, wouldn't you?

Wouldn't hurt...nothing is 100% foolproof except abstinence....Usually lasts 7 yrs, but, I had a friend who got pregnant after having hers tied, after 2 yrs...so...its quite possible.

just because you got your tubes tied doesn't mean you can't get pregnent....they can untie over a period of time....the best way to go is a total tubal ligation....they cut....tie and burn
