Do you agree that he is just someone Bush likes to have around because he can't say no to him?

Im British, I actually like Tony Blair and I voted for Tony Blair. I don't like the influence Bush seems to have over him. No offence to anyone personally.

As an American, I admire his courage to support his allie, the US, during a difficult time in history. He could have joined the EU and UN and had the UK not want to do anything about Iraq, but he stuck to his guns. For that, he has to be admired.

For the record, I don't agree with the Iraq occupation.

Look around the world pal. It's a very dangerous place. The United States and The United Kingdom are the only hope this world has. I think Tony Blair has a mind of his own. He and Bush just happen to be friends and work well together. If we don't stand up for what we believe in who is going to do it for us. I might be an American but my family roots go back to England so I have the best of both worlds.

I've watched the British Parliament on C-Span. I think Tony Blair is a hoot! He's personable, intelligent, and if he'd minimized George W. Bush's influence, while supporting the war on terror, I think he could have remained Prime Minister for a long time. That said, I think that if the mumbles in Parliament are true, he won't be there much longer. I'd like to see him lead the UN. Where better to put such a politically savvy man?

Tony Blair is one of the most fair governmental figures of our time and, no, I'm not British. I feel for Blair because he trys to please everyone in a "politically correct" way and gets blamed whenever things don't go right. He should try harder to concentrate on his own issues in NI. There is only so much a PM can do alone. His constituents back him but parliament doesn't.

I think more of Blair than I do Bush, but Blair isn't perfect. Who is?

Tony Blair is a better speaker than President Bush when it comes to press conferences, he is well versed and talks as if its from the heart not a teleprompter

I suspect most Americans think Tony is a great man. Unfortunately most British people do not trust him. He has lost all credibility.

They consider him a wise man, compared to their president; however some of my smart friends asked this question several times in one way or another "how come a wise guy with this nice soft British accent, can not identify himself from G.W. Bush?"

We think he and George Bush make a cute couple, but I suspect Bush is attracted to Putin's pouty look.
