I Shower before bead. I clean my hair well, wash face and all oily areas, the put on clean pajamas fresh each day and go to sleep on clean bead linnens. I awaken covered in oil. What did I do wrong? Is it the summer weather? Did I do something wrong? Is there something I can do between showers? Do I need to bathe 2x a day?

My skin is insanely oily too. I wake up in the mornings and it's really oily because it's so gross and humid outside. Find a good facial cleaner to use before you go to bed everynight, and get some good oil absorbing make up and blotting sheets for during the day. Don't use soap on your face because it has harsh chemicals and can do more harm than good. So go to the store and look at the nightly facial scrub things. It should help. :)

Hi I used to have the same problem. It turns out that you can actually get oily hair from over washing your hair. Try not washing it for a few days and then begin washing every other. For your skin oil, your face has the same condition. I wash mine twice a day and don't scrub too hard, either. For acne, there is this prescription stuff called BenzaClin. You can probably purchase it over the counter too because there are adds for it in magazines. It works really well on acne. And also, if you don't want your face a big puddle of oil at school, try buying blotting papers and use 1ce a day. They are good for purses and stuff. hope all this helped.

it is a good thing that the oil is coming out and not clogging your pores instead. I have oily skin aswell, and so do most of my family. I think it is genetic. I carry around these biore cloths that pick up the oil, I have to use them maybe everyday, maybe more than once, depending on what I'm doing, and the weather, and what I've eaten. Water helps, your body will actually shed less oil through your skin, because it constantly purifies your body within.

Your skin produces oil because it's actually dry... I know, I always thought I had oily skin too until I began using lotion after bathing and then my skin didn't need to make oil because it was hydrated. My suggestion to you is to buy some good lotion.. I use Suave Advanced Skin Therapy (About $4) and it's great. I get way fewer pimples and my skin deosn't have to produce so much oil. Maybe showering in the morning and then using your lotion may work better as well. Best wishes

there is nothing wrong with you. It is normal. Thats part of growing up. To overcome it, just drink a lot of water before you sleep and eat fruits regularly. Avoid eating nuts, chocolates or other form of oily foods..

Honestly, I would drink lots of water. Wash the sheets often. Try not touching my face through out the day. You know what you touch, then immagine what gets on your face when you touch your hands to your face. There are also different facial scrubs that could help. I do a weekly facial treatment on myself. I scrub my face with apricot scrub, wash it off with warm water, put on noxzema and let that start to soak in, then wash that off in warm water, turn my water on real hot...put a towel over my head and let the steam from the hot water help flush out my pores more...then take a wash cloth and rinse it out in cold water..and rub that over my face...it works...at least for me...you could also try facial astringents...something like Sea Breeze

you need to know this.the face produces oil to protect it.actually, you should at least wash your face twice.no more than that.once in the morning and later before you go to bed.the more times you wash, the more oil there'll b.try using a better face moisturiser than your current one.Simple is a good choice for your face supplies.the moisturiser doesn't leave me feeling oily throughout the day.also, improve on your diet.don't take food like peanuts and fried stuffs.

Drink lots of water and avoid oily food. Even if you are conscious of your hygiene, if you are not conscious of the food you eat, the oil intake is secreted through your skin.

Also, try to figure out if it is hereditary.
