is it just me or does anyone else think they're just horrid?? first of all, i dont want to see a guy wearing tight jeans and showing their ankles. Second, if you're a girl you have to be a toothpick to wear them otherwise they show just about every flaw you have and will make you look fat. does anyone else agree?

LOLz...i think drainpipe jeans look cool on skinny Jap guys with spiky hair, earring and lip ring connected by a thin chain, tattoos, great abs, lots of leather and ripped shirts, the works. A lean mean sex machine, OOh! But revealing ankles is way tacky, uh-uh >,<"

I totally agree tat only emancipated females with butt implants (to prevent the jeans from slipping) can pull off the look.Otherwise, the average gal will look like a wafer cone with two GENEROUS scoops of ice cream. (My fave is chocolate and mint, wad's urs?)

That's kind of like asking, "What's wrong with those hip huggers?" Well I will love to tell you something. Certain types of jeans are made for certain people. So I am skinny and have small hips so I wear those skinny jeans. Just because I don;t have big hips it doesn't exactly stay on right or look right. Just like fat people won't look right in straight leg jeans. So, I hope this opened your mind up to the different kinds of jeans for different kinds of people. :]

Every style isn't for everybody. If you're not curvy and know how to put looks together it's a good look...if you're a little curvy you should wear tops that balance the jeans and your body....if you're really curvy or overweight don't even think about it because they will make you look heavier than you actually are.

i don't really like this new look on guys at all! when i really thought boot cuts would dominate every guys' wardrobe, the emo scene kids just had to slim it way down to start a ******* fashion statement. it's a very horrid fashion and only 1 percent of the male population who is uberly starving themselves to death can only fit into this look. sorry, but my hips and legs are going fully into boot cuts. tapered legs=yuck. one of the worst fashions of the decade.

Those jeans are like sooo back in the day! I'm not too crazy about them myself. Just wear what compliments YOUR figure, baby. Me, I prefer flare-leg and boot cut :)!

I like them, but I agree that you have to have the right body to wear them. You don't have to show your ankles either... you could buy them longer or wear boots with them.

yes, not only guys being tight it shows their lump (which most of them dont have a big one) which is really annoying. i think its to make those who are skinny, like their on drugs, fit in. now not all are skinny because of drugs, dont get me wrong

Actually-- you can be short and really skinny to wear them. But if guys or fat people do... it's just sickning...
