I have a 3 y/o leopard gecko that was egg bound earlier in the year. That has resolved but she is still laying eggs and appears to have eggs inside. I was curious as to how many eggs or sets of eggs she will lay and when the season of egg laying ends?

Female leopard geckos can store sperm in their reproductive tracts for 15 months or more. They can lay up to five clutches of one or (usually) two eggs during the five month breeding season, and may use some of the stored sperm to fertilize each clutch. Incubation lasts about 55 days, with some variation due to temperature and humidity.

I think they lay two at a time but can have up to a dozen in a season
