Yes I do, I am an older diabetic that knows what a struggle that disease can be. I do not think that Bush's decision is based on any moral issue as these cells are just disposed of anyway. I think he is bending to the Pharmaceutical lobby that do not want cures for any disease as they make billions in treating it, and if you cured it then there would be no need for the products that they have on the market now. Off subject that is why there is no alternative fuels, oil company's block any effort to bring it to market.

I favor stem cell research but I DO NOT think it should be funded by tax dollars either federal or state or local.

Absolutely. George Bush is a collossal fool for vetoing the bill. it passed on the house, it passe din Congress, 70% of theAmerican population is in favor of the research, but Bush preferred to pander to his evangelical base instead of helping to eradicate neurological diseases.
Of his many mistakes, this was the most heinous.
