I decided to buy an MP3 player. My budget is $400 CAN. I'll buy it from http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/dept.asp?logon=&langid=EN&catid=22573

Which one would you get? I'm looking for the top of the top for my money.

Depends on what you're using it for and the functionality you're going for. iPod is great in that it's actually a decent value for a 60GB and it will store photos and play videos. However. When you get into purchasing music at iTunes for your iPod remember that their format isn't interchangeable with other equipment.
If you're more about straight mp3 player where you can really manipulate the music and the way it's stored right there on the mp3 player, Creative Labs has some great ones. Good luck!

I suggest buy a iPod. The GB and color are up to you though.
If you have a lot of songs to put on it buy a higher GB iPod.
If you get the black one ( i own a black one ) its good but the scratches do show more than the white one. what you should do is if you buy it there is a thin piece of plastic already sticking to the front of the iPod LEAVE IT ON for a while because it will stop any scratches but you may have to get some of the air bubbles out.
You should also consider a case to go with your iPod to help keep it scratch free if you decide to take off the plastic strip. The video iPod is good because it can store short movies. You can download some funny ones off of Google Video for FREE. And one more thing if you are going to get a iPod and you have a car is buy a car charger because it really helps if your battery is low and your on a long trip. Trust me.
But all in all just make sure you enjoy whatever MP3 player you get. If you have any other questions aske me on my "questions???" question.

ipod, I heve one and trust me every penny is worth it. With $400 you can buy the one of 60gb, but I have the one of 30gb (i have more than 1,000 songs and like 20 viedos and I still have 26gb of sapce left) that one only cost $300. And if you buy the one of 30gb you will have $100 to spend on accesories for the ipod.

I would say the Creative Zen Vision: M. It has a better battery than the iPod with Video, a better screen, and more features.

well.. my personal preference is ipod video 30gig. i think that's a reasonable ipod. and it really depends on how much do you depend on your mp3 player? i'm currently using a ipod nano. and not only it has my songs. it has my contacts in there. my activities for the week. i would say. ipod video 30 gig (black in color) would be stylish.. great storage space... and the screen's really cool!!

that's my next player. =) hope i've helped.
