I believe that you must use your legal name to enroll in any school however there is no reason that you cannot use your stage name in the programs the audience reads when you are acting.

You can also tell your college instructors privately that you would like to be called by your stage name and introduce yourself to others by your stage name.

Good luck!

PS. What is your stage name?

Well.....if the university department issues achievement certificates after completion of the degree or course, yours will be with that "Theatre" name only and may be it will affect your chances in career. But if you are still determined towards not using your real name, then better opt anyone from Shakespeare.

I believe you'll have to enroll in the university with your legal name, but there's no reason you can't use your stage name otherwise.
