when i click the blue icon for the internet it take 2 to 3 min for it to come up and i have road runner so it should be fast. please help!!

Sounds like you have some spyware or some unwanted programs running in the background. Road Runner offers spyware, anti virus and the like (albeit not the greatest stuff IMHO). If you have in installed (and you SHOULD), run it and clean some of the junk out of your system.

Maybe Road runner is having problems today. Or you have to many programs running on your startup. Click on start menu and go to run.. type in msconfig then ok and then start up tab. and see how many items come up. Eliminate the ones you dont want running all the time.

clean you registry with a program like registry first aid.
run a anti-spyware program
defrag
