That is what I have heard. Some people blame the water. Is the same true for their bagels?

I am moving there from NY so I guess I will compare it to what we have here.

Thanks.

Been to Beantown once, and there are many good places to eat. The pizza isn't bad... quite a bit better than you'll find in the south like Virginia, Florida, Alabama, etc. But comparing it to NY pizza doesn't work, it doesn't hold a candle. Bagels too... they're not the worst in the world, but they're just not nearly as good as those in NY. The seafood definitely kicks NY's a$$... especially the Union Oyster House. A little pricey, but the oysters, crab cakes, and clam chowder is amazing. Good luck, and swing back to NY in a couple months to see the Yanks in the World Series!

MA has the best pizza. The North End of Boston has some of the oldest brick ovens in the entire world! .. . We don't have bagels like New York, but you can buy decent ones just about anywhere.

I lived there for nearly 4 years and being a European I must say that I loved the Pizza at North End. You got to go to the Italians in order to really get the real stuff. Worst pizza was at Little Steve's on Boylston Street. Never, I really mean never go there unless you want fat drippin' down your slice for at least half a minute - no kiddin'!! = ))

New York Pizza is better, but it's not as bad as D.C. pizza.
