It depends on what you are looking for and where in Europe.

If you love to speak in different languages maybe Europe.

If you want a socialized medical system Europe has it though Switzerland has a private system and you must buy expensive private insurance. And, the Canadian socialized health system is superior to my knowledge.

But, life is very hard in Europe. Everytime I have lived in Europe I have aged by 10 years in one years time. Mostly, it seems that even if one was very wealthy it would be hard to have a good life in Europe.

When were you last in Europe? It has much degenerated over the last 15 to 20 years.

Where are you thinking of going? Although France has much declined many have still retained good critical thinking skills and respond to a logical argument and you must argue with them to get things done! But, they are logical unlike Americans and Swiss so it works 99% of the time.

The Swiss have a very low educational level and most of their smart people leave. They "out-dumb" Americans on any scale and are ruder and less sophisticated (I'm not joking!). They never had an economy, still don't. The only thing that happend in Switzerland was the protestant reformation. There is no housing fit for human habitation.

Denmark (Sealand) used to be a very clean, very advanced, very educated and enlightened people. But, I recently spoke with Danes and they say that it has declined over the last 25 years.

Right now the US is on top of the economic heap. And, it shows. Of course, with the debt this won't be for much longer. If you have a professional job you can live well in the US. Life is easy. Even as a middle class professional life is hard in Europe. Maybe think about Canada, unless you hate cold weather. Except, of course, Toronto which must be the most awful place on the planet right now.

The future economic heap is China or Japan. Tokyo is a wonderful, advanced, clean, sophisticated culture.

If you are religious in any way then go to North America or Japan. The only gods still living in Europe are alcohol, drugs and perhaps money. In France, rational thinking still exists so if you are an atheist this may be your paradise.
If you like books, then stick with North America or a large European city. In the tiniest towns of North America you can find large bookstores. Not so in small town Europe.

Other European "secrets" are that the streets and subways of Paris smell like urine because men in Europe urinate whereever and whenever they please. But, worse is that Switzerland and even parts of southern France smell like manure (dung) (cow sh*t) for much of the year. Even the Zurich airport in the spring! And, with no climate control and poor housing construction the windows must stay open too. And, heaven knows what those cows eat here. US cows never had such stinky manure. Maybe it's because the Swiss make six foot (2 meter) piles of manure outside of their barns and when the wind shifts you are in trouble - even if you are "in town". Add to that Zurich's traffic problems which rival those of Paris though Zurich has 350,000 and Paris about 11 million. It is hell.

Europe of course.
I lived in the US and in Europe... we can't compare.
Europe has a better weather.
Europe has a very good social security system.
European's food is so awesome.
Europe is like a large musem.
Europe does not have stupid restriction on alcohol.
European people are a model for the world when everybody hates US because of Bush.
Europe has an important culture.
European school are mostly free.

But...
American people are not as reserved as European
American people don't have rules for how to look like and to be.
America has more rural space and large forest.

It depends what you like. Certainly the architecture in Europe is vastly superior to the US. But taxes are very high there, especially when you add in VAT. Europe is more socialist than the US. Medical care is better in the US if you're a person of means. I guess what I'm saying is both have their plusses and minuses. If you prefer Europe, you should definitely go there. Life's short.

USA is a country, Europe is a continent. Living in Italy is totally different to living in Ireland or the Ukraine.

Either way I think no matter where you live you should spend some time in other countries. Its the best way to figure out how the world woks.

I think it's better to settle down someplace in Europe. If I had the option, i'd definitely move there. Not only are the people very nice, but Europe offers great food, culture and you can live a laid back lifestyle. I think men are definitely cuter and not arrogant!

Reason No. (1) France is in Europe.
Reason No. (2) Russia is in Europe.
Reason No. (3) Germany is in Europe.
Reason No. (4) Too many Muslims extremists living and moving to Europe.

There you have it! America is better.

No please settle down in Europe. Why should I want to "sell"you on the USA. I love it here and Ive traveled quite a lot and Id never live any where but my home the USA. Have a nice life in Europe .There are far than enough foreign discontents living in our "terrible" country as it is why would we want one more.?

Europe, since you seem to prefer it We have too many immigrants in America already. We don't need immigrants who really don't want to be here, as is the situation up in Canada. I think my country is the better place (I've lived in Europe twice) but that doesn't mean I want to share it with everyone.

I lived the two in u . s . a . and in Europe, residing in eu at present... It relies upon plenty on the place you bypass, yet evaluate this: In u . s . a . you will get fired any 2d from basically any interest place, whilst in maximum eu worldwide places the staff sindicates defend your suitable to maintain your interest. Taxes in eu are larger then the U. S., yet you get loose medical tips for that, so this is as much as you to come again to a determination what you like out of those teo techniques. What else...nicely, the european could be a tad extra secure to stay in than the U. S. (to illustrate, people are not allowed to actual income get right of entry to to, and carry, firearms from the age of 5 :P ). on the different hand, till the vast industries understand that eu's economic gadget is definitely larger than that of the U. S., residing in the U. S. ability you get all electonic contraptions, new telephones, new video clips, etc. some months in basic terms before in Europe, this is kinda super in case you adore videogames and hollywood productions. there is one heavy element in Europe's choose although: US historic past began approximately 500 years in the past (350-ish definitely, yet enable's count variety from the 2d u . s . a . of america exchange into chanced on), so the oldest element you will locate is a church in long island. Europe's historic past and subculture is in basic terms approximately 3000 years previous, meaning that, in case you reside in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, uk, and extraordinarily Greece and Italy, you would be SURROUNDED with the aid of subculture and paintings, this is extremely nifty.
