If you are talking about swimming, then just get out of the pool, tilt your head to the side where your ear had water (the ear pointing to the ground) and start jumping hard. (You don't have to jump high)

The water will come off just like that. I have tried and seen many doing it as well. Just be careful not to slip and fall while you jump.

The pharmacy section of the grocery store carries products for swimmer's ear. If you look at the ingredients, you'll see that it is, by far, mostly isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). These are drying agents meant to prevent swimmer's ear.

You'll find various recipes on the web mostly involving
-pure isopropyl alcohol
-equal parts isoprope and white vinegar
-two parts water to one part white vinegar
-others with hydrogen peroxide

I've used some of these in the past with good results. Just a couple of drops in each ear does it. However, i would never use them if i already had an infection or on a regular basis.

good luck

This may sounds strange, but . . . put more water in your ear, and when you feel and hear it go in, then turn your head so that your ear is facing down. The water you just put in will "grab" the water you had in it, and it will come out. Seriously. It works. I've been a competitive swimmer for over 20 years, and it works for me nearly every time. No lie.

Sometime water behind the ears is sometimes a sign of a sinus congestion. You can try using a sinus decongestant. If you don't feel any relief, go see a doctor for a script. Good Luck

pour rubbing alcohol into your ear while laying on your side and let it sit in there for a few minutes. then turn over and let it drain out, it usually takes the water with it. i used to have this problem alot when i was a kid.

Pour a little bit of rubbing alcohol and shake your head. Then bend over sideways and the water will escape.

Alternatively, if you don't have rubbing alcohol, you can use an absorbant material to collect moisture. Try a Q-tip.
